Laura Vendruscolo is a final year master`s student in Security, Intelligence, and Strategic Studies (IMSISS), specialising in Intelligence, Peace-building and Terrorism. Her thesis focuses on the impact of the use of violent non-state actors in a peace operations environment. Before that, she worked with government affairs in Brazil, dealing with domestic policies in the Brazilian Congress. Her academic interests revolve around gender and conflict, peace studies, peace operations and territorial non-state actors. At Oiip, she will be working under Dr Daniela Pisoiu’s supervision in terrorism scenario monitoring and extremism prevention.
