Laura Füsselberger is studying law at the University of Vienna, where she also completed a bachelor’s degree in political science. Her research focuses on the European and international dimensions of both disciplines, particularly the role of the EU in an evolving geopolitical landscape. A key area of interest is European integration, which she explored in her Bachelor’s thesis by analyzing debates on EU enlargement in the context of geopolitical shifts triggered by Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. She has gained insights into political decision-making processes, among others, during a traineeship at the European Parliament.
