Benjamin Beinlich is currently in the third stage of his law studies at the University of Vienna (Juridicum) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna. His bachelor’s thesis, titled “Modern Heroism in the Politburo”, examined leaders’ cult as a system-sustaining factor in real socialism, using the cases of China and North Korea. He has gained professional experience as a legal assistant in the legal profession, is a member of the Young Transatlantic Initiative, and was actively involved in the youth organizations of two Austrian political parties. At the oiip, he supports Sophie Reichelt and Annika Scharnagl in the research project “Security Education by Empowering Democratic Strength (SEEDS)”.
